Over his 26-year career, Michel has had the privilege of serving clients throughout North America and Europe with his inventive and highly effective graphic design solutions.
Since 1984, Michel has specialized in using cutting-edge computer technology for the design and production of graphic communications. It was during this period that he founded Digigraphic Studio, the first company in Belgium to offer electronic design and production services for the printing and audiovisual industry on personal computers.
He arrived in the United States in 1987 and his work history includes tenure with Marcolina Design in Philadelphia and with Steven Sessions Design, Savage Design Group, Hill Design Group, and Edge Creative Strategies, all in Houston.
Michel is experienced in needs analysis, information architecture, user interface, database design and the creation and maintenance of dynamic web sites for Internet, e-commerce and Intranet use, CD-ROMs and interactive presentations.
In addition, Michel has widely acknowledged talents in the design and production of brochures, advertising, direct mail, annual reports and other printed materials, as well as graphic identities and illustrations.
Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in Belgium, Michel came to the United States in 1987 with his American wife, who is a member of the faculty of the University of Rochester and the Eastman School of Music. Michel holds two master’s degrees, one in graphic design, from the Institut Saint Luc in Brussels, and the other in photography, earned at INRACI, also in Brussels.
Today, when Michel isn’t serving businesses and clients of every size and type from his home office in Rochester, New York, he’s running ActivityQuest.com LLC, an online business that offers activity program providers a browser-based tool to easily create, edit, and publish an online catalog of all their activity programs.
